Kitchen table with bench seating – Spread a layer of glue on the cut end of a 15 2-by-12-by-half-inch panel, which will be the bank’s leg. Repeat step one with the second leg. Mitre both ends of two 1-by-4-by-61 boards and two 2.1-inch 1-by-4-by-13-inch boards. Place one of Tables 1-by-4-by-13-inch beveled corners to face upward. Drive four nails in a square pattern through leg 1-for-4 and in the bank.
Repeat step four with the other Table 1-by-4-by-13-inch leg in the other bank. Run a bead of glue along the length of one side of the bench top, and in the miter and the top of the bank leg at both ends. Place a 61 1-by-4-by-board half-inch against this glued area, with its upper edge flush with the top of the bank, and attach it with nails. Drive two nails through leg 1-for-4 on a bench; repeat with the other leg kitchen table with bench seating.
Repeat step six on the other side of the table with another 61 one-by-4-by-board half-inch. Use a nail punch to drive the heads of all the nails slightly below the surface of the wood, and fill the holes with wood putty. When all glue and caulk is dry, sand lightly with 150-grit sandpaper to smooth the putty and gently around sharp edges of wood. Wood finish date as desired kitchen table with bench seating.
